FAMILIAR FACE JOINS THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH

Jennifer Gahbow brings years of Mille Lacs Band experience to her new role as the District II Legislative Aide.

The Mille Lacs Band Legislative Branch is pleased to welcome Jennifer Gahbow as the new D2A Legislative Aide. In her new role, Jennifer will assist District || Representative Raina Killspotted and help support the needs of Band members and the District Il community.

Jennifer brings many years of experience serving the Mille Lacs Band. Before joining the Legislative Branch, she worked as the Executive Administrative Assistant for the Commissioner of Education. She also previously served as the D2A Ge-Niigaaniziijig Coordinator. A high school graduate with additional college education, Jennifer says she has worked for the Mille Lacs Band in some capacity for most of her life.

Jennifer is looking forward to gaining new experiences and continuing to work for the community.

A lifelong resident of Isle, Jennifer has one son. Outside of work, she enjoys supporting her nephews at their sporting events and hopes to travel to different countries. She is also a talented bowler and enjoys fishing - although she admits she will not touch the fish!
